Get ready Columbus! Screaming for Silence are coming your way the weekend of May 15 to take part in the annual Rock on the Range Festival. The upstart rockers earned the honor by besting the competition in the Ernie Ball Rock on the Range Battle of the Bands competition.

Not only do the Omaha-based rockers get a coveted spot on the Ernie Ball Stage as part of the Rock on the Range festival, but they'll also receive more than $15,000 in Ernie Ball Music Man strings, guitars and basses as well as music gear from DW drums, Zildjian, BlackStar, Mark Bass, TC Electronics, LP and 1964 Ears.

“We are extremely honored to rock the Ernie Ball Stage at the biggest rock music festival in the nation. Thank you Ernie Ball and all of our fans, friends, and family," says Screaming for Silence vocalist Zeb Christensen. To get more of an idea of what to expect, check out the band's "The King Is Crowned" video, which can be seen below. Other favorites on the disc include "Infested," "Calling Your Bluff" and "Hero to Zero." All of those cuts are featured on the band's self-titled album, which arrived in January. If you like what you hear, you can pick up the disc at iTunes.

So look for Screaming for Silence on the same bill as Linkin Park, Rise Against, Slash, Judas Priest, Papa Roach and more at the 2015 Rock on the Range Festival. The band will also be featured on AXS TV's Saturday (May 16) broadcast from the festival. The network will start broadcasting at 7PM ET / 4PM PT each day.

Now in its 19th year, the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands has become one of the great showcases for up-and-coming acts, giving unsigned artists across the nation an opportunity to perform at some of the largest festivals and biggest tours in the country.
