Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators brought the house down last night (May 22) at Irving Plaza in New York City to celebrate the release of their new album ‘Apocalyptic Love.’

It was truly a rock 'n' roll party as Slash took the stage with his signature top hat and sunglasses. They got the night started with an oldie but a goodie -- ‘Mean Bone.’

During the course of the night, Myles Kennedy belted out some Velvet Revolver tunes such as ‘Dirty Little Thing’ and 'Slither, 'as well as tracks from Slash’s first solo record like ‘Back From Cali,’ ‘Starlight,’ ‘Dr. Alibi,’ ‘By the Sword’ and ‘Ghost,’ among others.

However, it wouldn’t be an album release party without the band performing tunes from the new disc. Slash and his Conspirators rocked out the title track ‘Apocalyptic Love,’ ‘One Last Thrill,’ ‘Halo’ and the album's first single ‘You’re a Lie.’

Slash shredded it up like no one else and mesmerized the crowd with his blistering solos all night long. If that wasn’t enough, fans also got a special treat with performances of Guns N’ Roses classics such as ‘Night Train,’ ‘Rocket Queen,’ ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ and the set closer ‘Paradise City.’ Throughout the set, Myles Kennedy proved that he's one of the most powerful rock singers around today.

New York showed some serious ‘Apocalyptic Love’ for Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, and with good reason: It was a power-packed gig that showed off the many talents of Slash and his crew.
