Superjoint Announce 2017 U.S. Tour With DevilDriver + More
Philip Anselmo and the rest of his Superjoint crew have been touring sporadically in support of their comeback record, Caught Up in the Gears of Application. Their abrasive gutter-punk sludge will play out on stages across the country this fall as they've just announced a headlining U.S. jaunt dubbed 'The Broken Bones Tour.'
DevilDriver, who will wrap up their own headlining run the day before this new trek starts, will serve as direct support with King Parrot, Cane Hill and Child Bite rounding out the bill. The tour will begin on Sept. 23 in Texas, hitting the West Coast before circling around the U.S., finishing up in Florida on Oct. 20.
"Do your pushups, take your vitamins and start some light jogging now, because this is gonna be a hell-of-a-s--tload of shows this coming fall. Old school rules only. Leave your fashion statement at home or at the door. Individuals unite for one night only (at a place near you), and then disperse like wildfire to dry pages. Bring it on sisters and brothers. Always championing the underdogs of this world and the underground since 1988," Anselmo boasted.
"They say lightning doesn't strike twice?! That's complete bulls--t! If you live in the United States of America get f--king ready! Superjoint was DevilDriver's first tour and one of the most memorable tours of my life time and now we are gearing up to do it again on 'The Broken Bones Tour,'" exclaimed DevilDriver's Dez Fafara.
DevilDriver will be out in support of 2016's Trust No One, while King Parrot will tout 2015's Dead Set. Meanwhile, Cane Hill and Child Bite both have 2016 records to promote, Smile and Negative Noise respectively.
