Make room, Mastodon! It's time to add some more hard rocking hardware to your trophy mantle. The group received the night's top honor at the 2012 Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards.

The event took place Monday night (June 11) at London's Indigo2, with Mastodon scoring the trophy for Best Album for 'The Hunter.' This makes the group's second trophy in just over a week, as they recently won the same honor at the Kerrang! Awards.

The U.K. hard rock and metal magazine also saluted several other top bands and performers. Metal vets Saxon won the Best U.K. Band title, while Lamb of God received a trophy as the Best International Band. Rammstein, who were unable to attend the ceremony, received the Best Live Band honor. And thrash metal icons Anthrax won the Metal As F--- trophy.

Individual honors were given out to Devin Townsend, who received the Dimebag Darrell Shredder Award from the late guitarist's brother Vinnie Paul. Meanwhile, Machine Head's Robb Flynn and Phil Demmel were saluted with Riff Lord trophies. And after presenting earlier in the night, Vinnie Paul walked away with the Best Drummer trophy.

In addition to the awards, the evening featured performances by Anthrax, Biohazard, Ghost, and Watain.
