U.K. hard rock magazine Kerrang! held their annual ceremony to honor the best in music over the last year, and they managed to spread the wealth among a number of top acts during the Thursday event.

Mastodon and Black Veil Brides were the biggest winners for their current music, as Mastodon's 'The Hunter' received Best Album honors, while Black Veil Brides added to their Kerrang! collection with a Best Single trophy for 'Rebel Love Song.'

Mastodon drummer Brann Dailor, who accepted via video message, stated, "Thank you Kerrang! magazine for always supporting us and being so nice to us. Thank you to our fans for supporting us. We are sorry we can't be there with all you drunk bastards to accept it in person and drink with you."

Anthrax's Scott Ian and Slipknot's Corey Taylor served as co-hosts for the fourth consecutive year, and kept the audience at the Brewery in East London entertained throughout the night.
