After a solid run by Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity, the band was defeated by the hammer of Amon Amarth in our latest Death Match. We tip our hats to DT, but Amon Amarth now begin to carve their path to the Death Match Hall of Fame with the band's new track 'Deceiver of the Gods.' However, Amon Amarth have serious competition coming all the way from Australia.

Parkway Drive enter the Death Match arena with 'Wild Eyes' from the band's 2012 full-length album, 'Atlas.' Parkway Drive received very positive reviews for 'Atlas,' with many dubbing the record as the best metalcore release of 2012. The Australian act offers a strong punch with 'Wild Eyes,' but only our readers will decide which track is worthy of proceeding to next week's match.

Can Amon Amarth continue their path of victory with a second Death Match win? Or will Parkway Drive eliminate Amon Amarth from Death Match prosperity? Your votes will decide. Pick your favorite track in the poll below!

(This Death Match ends on Tuesday, May 28, at 10AM ET. Fans can vote once per hour! So come back and vote often to make sure your favorite song wins!)
