The 2017 Carolina Rebellion lineup has been announced and now the only question left is, "Do you wanna get rocked?" The sixth edition of the North Carolina festival is set for the weekend of May 5 - 7 in the city of Charlotte at the Motor Speedway and will feature Soundgarden, Def Leppard and Avenged Sevenfold as the headliners.

Soundgarden will close out the first night of the fest, with A Perfect Circle, Mastodon, the Cult, Pierce the Veil, Opeth, Amon Amarth, Eagles of Death Metal and Highly Suspect making up the top portion of Friday's billing. Also performing that day will be Gojira, Nothing More, Every Time I Die, Starset, Radkey, Crobot, Volumes, Dorothy, As Lions, Wage War and Mother Feather.

Soundgarden were one of the biggest bands to emerge from the '90s and on the second night, Carolina Rebellion will turn it back further with '80s heroes Def Leppard headlining on May 6. The Brits have seemingly been on the road in the U.S. more often than not the last two years and they'll be joined by Korn, Tesla, Chevelle, Alter Bridge, the Pretty Reckless, Sum 41, In Flames, In This Moment, the Dillinger Escape Plan, Machine Gun Kelly, the Amity Affliction, All That Remains, Rival Sons, I Prevail, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Ded, Badflower, Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, Citizen Zero and Cover Your Tracks.

"There are some amazing acts on Carolina Rebellion; it’s a privilege to be part of what’s going to be an amazing experience for all involved," said Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott.

The final night will thrust fans back into the modern era as Avenged Sevenfold will headline, closing out another installment of Carolina Rebellion. Pumped over the opportunity, singer M. Shadows exclaimed, “We are losing our minds at the thought of bringing our new music and show to the Carolina Rebellion. The Stage has been set!”

Also set to appear Sunday are the Offspring, Volbeat, Papa Roach, Seether, Three Days Grace, Coheed & Cambria, Skillet, Taking Back Sunday, Falling in Reverse, Motionless in White, Beartooth, Fozzy, Kyng, Sylar, Goodbye June, Fire From the Gods, The Charm The Fury and Royal Republic.

The music will unfold across four separate stages and the fest will also feature a "world-class BBQ village." Tickets are on sale now at the Carolina Rebellion website with options including weekend general admission and VIP, two and single day general admission as well as hotel and camping packages. Layaway options are also available, allowing fans to pay for tickets in installments.
