Baroness Announce Winter Tour, Reveal 'Chlorine & Wine' Clip

A few weeks ago Georgia rockers Baroness revealed that their latest album Purple would be unleashed Dec. 18 and also released the track "Chlorine & Wine." They have now unveiled the official video for the song that you can watch above.

The clip gives a behind-the-scenes look at the making of "Chlorine & Wine," showing the band writing and rehearsing the song along with recording it at Tarbox Road Studios. In addition to the video, Baroness also announced a tour that kicks off Nov. 27 in Columbus, Ohio. Ticket information can be found here.

“We’ve been off tour for too long,” says frontman John Baizley. “It’s time for Baroness to start playing shows in the U.S. again. We’re doing a short run through the eastern half of the States, in small clubs, getting our new songs stage ready for 2016. Who knows, maybe we’ll even throw in a few songs from the very early EPs and albums. See you soon…”

As for the album Purple, the band says, "We spent our time writing and refocusing our sound; we developed a deeper level of creative rapport with our new rhythm section, and tried to write a better record than we had ever imagined writing. In short, we are thrilled. We have never been as uniformly psyched-up by a record of ours as we are today."
