Ohio post-blues darlings the Black Keys will launch the first leg of their 2012 North American tour on Mar. 2 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dates are scheduled through Mar. 23 in Norfolk, Virginia.

The duo, which consists of multi-instrumentalist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney, were just nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the song 'Dearest' from the covers album 'Rave on Buddy Holly,' which came out June 28.

The Black Keys' critically acclaimed sixth CD, 'Brothers,' was released May 18. It was produced by Mark Neil, with addition production by Danger Mouse (Gorillaz, Gnarls Barkley, Beck). Their band's follow-up, 'El Camino,' comes out Dec. 6 in a number of formats, including a T-shirt bundle, high quality vinyl, CD and digital download.

The CD was co-produced by the Black Keys and Danger Mouse. Five songs from the disc can be previewed on the band's Web site. An advertisement for the record stars comedian Bob Odenkirk ('Mr. Show,' 'Breaking Bad') as a used car salesman (see below).

"Lonely Boy," the first single from 'El Camino,' is currently No. 3 on the Billboard rock songs chart.
