When it comes to metal royalty, it's hard to beat what you'll find in this Devil Horn Region Round 1 matchup, as we set out to determine the best live band in hard rock and metal.

On one side of the battle, you'll find Black Sabbath. The metal vets hold the distinction of having one of the top metal guitarists in history with Tony Iommi delivering blistering licks. Flanking Iommi is one of the bass greats in Geezer Butler. Behind the kit has been a bit of a revolving door due to Bill Ward's contract dispute, but let's not forget one of the most captivating frontmen of all-time -- Ozzy Osbourne.

Meanwhile, their first round opponents are legends in their own right, as Judas Priest have been putting on killer live shows for years. Led by the amazing vocal range of Rob Halford and featuring the guitar attack of Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner, Priest know how to bring it live. And never underestimate the band's rhythm section of Ian Hill and Scott Travis who have been rocking the low end at shows for years.

So show some love for either Black Sabbath or Judas Priest. Let us know which band you think is the better live act by voting in the poll below. You can vote once per hour through the deadline of Tuesday, July 14 at 10AM ET.
