Born of Osiris Announce ‘The New Reign’ Anniversary Tour Dates, Plus News on Myrkur, Flogging Molly + More

- Born of Osiris will finish out the touring supporting the 10th Anniversary of their The New Reign EP with nine shows in the northern U.S. and Canada. Dates for the run can be found here.
- Myrkur and Chelsea Wolfe have teamed up on the song "Funeral" for Myrkur's Mareridt album, due Friday. The two recently got together in a Las Vegas hotel room for a performance of the song that can be seen here.
- Flogging Molly have one of the more creatively eye-catching clips you'll see this year with their new Richie Smyth-helmed video for "Reptiles (We Woke Up)." Watch the combination animation-real life clip right here. The song is featured on the band's Life Is Good album.
- Annihilator have set a Nov. 3 street date for their sixteenth studio album, For the Demented. The band just released a video for the song "Twisted Lobotomy" that can be seen here. Pre-order information will be announced soon.
- According to Pitchfork, '90s favorites L7 are planning to release their first new music in 18 years this fall. The first of two new singles will arrive on Sept. 29. The group reunited in 2015 and their L7: Pretend We're Dead documentary is due Oct. 13.
- The ReAktion have unleashed another new song from their Similitude album (due Oct. 27). Take a listen to "Little World" right here.
- Doro Pesch offered a recording update during an interview with Capital Chaos TV, revealing that her next album is "eighty percent done" with some great guests and some great anthems. She confirmed Tommy Bolan for the disc, while in a previous interview she hinted that Amon Amarth's Johan Hegg, Kreator's Mille Petrozza and Sabaton's Joakim Broden would be involved.
- You'll be able to revisit the Sex Pistols breakthrough with the new book 1977: The Bollocks Diaries, which is being released Oct. 26 by Cassell Illustrated to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the iconic punk album. Head here for ordering information.
