2020 is the year of the reunion and Bulletboys are getting in on the action. The L.A.-based outfit rose through the ranks in the late '80s hair metal era, breaking out with their 1988 self-titled debut. Though the band has had a revolving door of members over the years, 2020 will find the original platinum-selling Bulletboys lineup intact.

Singer Marq Torien will be joined by guitarist Mick Sweda, bassist Lonnie Vencent and drummer Jimmy D'Anda on the road.

“I would never have guessed this reunion would have come about, but the world seems to have its own plan filled with peace, love and kindness,” says guitarist Mick Sweda. “And lots of ass kicking!”

Add vocalist Marq Torien, “I am completely ecstatic about this rad magical new beginning for us. It’s on!”

The group will technically beat the calendar, getting in their first show on Dec. 30 at the Whisky a Go Go on West Hollywood's Sunset Strip. Aside from one date in 2011, this will be the first time this foursome has performed under the Bulletboys name since 1993.

At present, only a handful of dates have been announced. The group will another Sunset Strip show April 19 at the Rainbow's Anniversary Party in West Hollywood. There's also an appearance at the Rock the Dam Fest in Beaver Dam, Kentucky on July 25. But rest assured, more shows are coming. Their announcement reveals that more than 50 shows around the U.S. are currently in the works. In addition, fans can look forward to new music in 2020.

“All’s well and ends well,” bassist Lonnie Vencent says. “BULLETBOYS 2020! Pigs are flying!” Adds drummer Jimmy D'Anda, “Does anybody remember laughter!?”
