Cattle Decapitation will begin recording their eighth studio album this May. Along with the studio news, Cattle Decap have also revealed a handful of U.S. tour dates with Unidad Trauma.

For the first time ever, the modern death metal leaders have gone nearly four years without a new record. In 2015, Cattle released The Anthropocene Extinction, which became their first album to appear on the Billboard 200 chart. Following their biggest album to-date, Cattle Decap may unleash a fresh serving of tracks this year, adding to the gigantic list (see below) of bands releasing new material in 2019.

Cattle posted via Facebook:

Cattle Decapitation begins recording the NEW ALBUM the first week of May with Dave Otero at Flatline Audio! We'll be playing 5 shows on our way out to Colorado and playing one new song off of the new album!
Making the trek with us will be our friends Unidad Trauma from Tijuana, MX! Unidad Trauma is the musical core of medical goregrinders Thanatology now under a new name, more focused with surgical precision than ever and are currently writing their new album as well.
Pumped and firing on all cylinders, this is a team you do not want to miss!
