Polish death merchants Decapitated will be embarking on a headlining North American run in January of 2016. The dates will mark the first time the band has headlined a stint on the continent in over three years. Providing direct support for the tour will be the thrashing death punks in Black Breath and death-grinders Theories.

Decapitated fans will be excited to learn of the band's headlining trek as they had to drop off their tour opening for Soulfly and Soilwork due to immigration issues. The band vowed to return and will be hitting the road on the Blood Mantra Across North America tour starting Jan. 27 in Denver, Colo. and closing out in Virginia Beach, Va. on Feb. 7.

Guitarist and founder Vogg commented, saying "We’re very excited to announce that we will be returning to North America in January and February as a part of the At The Gates tour, along with our first headline dates in over 3 years. As you probably know due to unexpected problems with U.S.C.I.S. we were forced to cancel our tour with Soulfly in October this year. We can’t wait to get back and play for our loyal fans all over North America and we hope to see you there! Nothing will stop us this time!!!"

Following the Feb. 7 date, Decapitated will serve as support for At the Gates as they assume a headlining tour of their own. The jaunt will extend from Feb. 9 in Florida to Feb. 21 in California and will also feature the Haunted.

Decapitated vocalist Rasta is just as excited as his bandmate Vogg and added, "The beginning of 2016 is gonna be awesome. We are coming back to United States and Canada!!!. As we all perfectly know, North America is one of the best place to play hard music. This continent was simply built on a rock and roll music, and I feel it every time we play there. Amazing crowds, constant headbanging and of course unforgettable shows. North America are you ready?! We are coming! See you there!"

Blood Mantra was released in 2014 and marks Decapitated's sixth studio album. Known for the overt technical abilities, the band expanded their sound on the album, incorporating a heavier sense of groove while still delivering the technical precision they made their name from.
