Some mash-ups work, others don't, but we tend to share the ones with you that tend to be on the stellar side. And our latest entry comes from DJ Cummerbund, who manages to blend the songs of Foo Fighters, Rick James, Led Zeppelin and Beach Boys into one pretty cool mix.

Not only does DJ Cummerbund mix up the songs, but he also pulls from the past video clips of each act to make an intriguing visual as well. The primary instrumental base of the mash-up is Foo Fighters' "The Pretender" with Rick James' vocal for "Super Freak" initially slowed, then sped up to fit the pace of the music. As the song progresses, DJ Cummerbund adds to his musical confection by intertwining interview clips with James, a portion of Beach Boys' "Help Me Rhonda" and an instantly recognizable snippet of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" to finish it off.

The mash-up master already got a stamp of approval, as Foo Fighters offered an emphatic "F--k Yeah" while tweeting the mash-up to their fans. See the tweet below:
