Foo Fighters ‘Walk’ Home With Best Rock Video Honor at 2011 MTV Video Music Awards

Foo Fighters were awarded the Best Rock Video for their single 'Walk' at the MTV Video Music Awards tonight (Aug. 28) in Los Angeles.

Dave Grohl and company earned the honor for their hilarious homage to the Michael Douglas film 'Falling Down.' The clip (which can be seen below) truly deserved the award, as it is one of the year's best videos.

The Foos accepted the award from oddly matched presenters Miley Cyrus and skateboarder/snowboarder Shaun White.

'Thank you very much," said Grohl. "We'd like to thank Sam Jones, the director; Joel Schumacher, the director of 'Falling Down,' which is the movie we based the video on. All our friends at MTV, I just want to say never lose faith in real rock 'n' roll music!"
