The pairing of singer Brett Scallions and guitarist/songwriter Carl Bell was just peaking as the 21st century hit. Fresh off a string of active rock hits, Fuel headed back into the studio to record 2000's 'Something Like Human' album.

The first single off the disc, 'Hemorrhage (In My Hands),' would become the band's highest charting track, spending 12 weeks at No. 1 in 2000. The band has since broken into two factions, with the Scallions-led outfit most recently touring.
