Gone Is Gone, the band featuring members of Mastodon, Queens of the Stone Age and At the Drive-In, are set to kick off the new year with fresh music, and they've got another new song to check out. The band recently released the new song "Sentient" (seen below) and they are now following it up with a video for the track "Gift" that you can watch above.

The driving rocker features distinctive drum beats from Tony Hajjar, helping to propel through the wall of bass and guitar from Troy Sanders, Troy Van Leeuwen and Mike Zarin. As for the clip, you can watch it above. It finds the band's members a little fuzzed out as they tamper with a transmission in a video room.

The Echolocation album was recorded at Sencit Studios in Los Angeles with additional tracking at Casa De Leones Studio. Ken Andrews (A Perfect Circle, Beck) produced the album.

Both "Gift" and "Sentient" can currently be purchased through iTunes and are also available as instant downloads with pre-orders of Echolocation. The Echolocation album will be released on Jan. 6 through Rise Records / Black Dune Records, and the band is also planning on playing a record release party the same day at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. Tickets can be purchased here.
