Slash will be the guest of honor at the Road Recovery benefit concert on Sept. 13 at the Best Buy Theater in New York CIty. He'll perform at the event with his fellow ex-Guns N' Roses/Velvet Revolver bandmates Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, as well as other music luminaries.

The Road Recovery Foundation raises money for youngsters who are battling addiction and other obstacles by reaching out to people in the entertainment industry.

In addition to McKagan and Sorum, Slash will also be joined onstage by another former Guns member, Gilby Clarke, and legendary MC5 frontman Wayne Kramer. Tickets for the benefit show are just $25 and are available here.

In other news, Slash is back at work on his second 'solo' album, featuring vocals by Alter Bridge singer Myles Kennedy. Read more about his studio exploits here.
