As if the 2013 Heavy MTL festival wasn't already rocking enough, organizers have just added some significant rockers to this year's bill. Among the top new acts joining the music weekend include Black Label Society, Philip H. Anselmo & the Illegals and Hellyeah! among others.

The trio of new additions is interesting given the Pantera ties of Anselmo and Hellyeah!'s Vinnie Paul, along with last year's talk of Black Label Society's Zakk Wylde being called upon if Pantera ever decided to reunite. However tensions between Paul and Anselmo have remained, despite Anselmo's public declarations hoping to put an end to the animosity. Anselmo spoke exclusively with Loudwire earlier this week about what he would say to Vinnie Paul if given a chance. Though both Anselmo and Hellyeah! are playing Heavy MTL, they are scheduled for separate days.

Other newly added acts to the bill include Wintersun, Sick of It All, Newsted, Motionless in White, Pallbearer, Huntress and Indian Handcrafts. They join a lineup that already included Avenged Sevenfold, Rob Zombie, Megadeth, Godsmack and more.

The 2013 Heavy MTL festival will take place at Montreal's Parc Jean Drapeau August 10-11. To see the full lineup, check here. For ticketing info, check here.
