Iced Earth Map Out 2018 North American Tour With Sanctuary + More

U.S. power metal icons Iced Earth trekked through Europe earlier in 2017 as they supported their latest released, Incorruptible, and now have made plans to bring the album back home on a North American tour with support coming from Sanctuary and Kill Ritual.

The run begins on Feb. 22 in Indianapolis, Ind. and will branch out further west and up into Canada before battering the Pacific Coast, riding through the lower half of the U.S., up the East Coast, ultimately coming full circle as the bands wrap things up in Chicago over one month later on March 29.

"Brothers and sisters! We are very aware at how impatient you have been getting about our North American tour announcement, but the time has arrived!! We will be seeing you soon in a very extensive USA / Canada run. Be there; it will be an awesome time for sure," comments guitarist and founder Jon Schaffer.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale Dec. 1 at 10AM local time and a list of all dates can be viewed below.

Fans can expect Iced Earth to pepper in some new tracks like "Seven Headed Whore" and "Great Heathen Army" among the classics in their set. Meanwhile, Sanctuary (featuring Warrell Dane of Nevermore fame) will be touting their comeback record, 2014's The Year the Sun Died, and California thrashers Kill Ritual will release, All Men Shall Fall, on the second day of the tour.
