In Flames are currently on tour in the U.S. with Lamb of God, and the Swedish metallers have just announced they will be returning to the States in February for a headlining run with and Battlecross.

"We are excited to be coming back to North America once again," the band declares in a press release. "On this tour we hope to see some old fans and some new fans from cities we have never played before, look forward to seeing you soon."

In Flames have been touring relentlessly in support of their latest album, 2011's 'Sounds of a Playground Fading,' but in a recent interview with Unsung Melody, frontman Anders Friden said they enjoy life in the road.

"We are having more fun than we have in quite some time," Friden said. "It’s good. We’re still continuing, and we can say stop at any moment and have rest. It’s not like someone is forcing us, like a record company putting a gun to your head and say “Out! Tour!” It’s us. We can at least tour, more, more, more and more. We have, up until after next summer, we will stop touring from this album. It’s been good."

The band will take about a month off after the Lamb of God tour winds down, then in late January 2013 will be part of the 70,000 Tons of Metal Cruise. Right after that, their headlining tour begins.
