After dropping hints this spring and confirming its existence earlier this month, Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has now revealed the full details for his upcoming Desert Sessions Vols. 11 & 12.

Out on Oct. 25, the two volumes dubbed Arrivederci Despair (Vol. 11) and Tightwads & Nitwits & Critics & Heels (Vol. 12) feature an army of guests including ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons and PrimusLes Claypool. The star-studded new recordings end a 16-year hiatus for the Desert Sessions. (The collaborative series last left off with 2003’s 10th volume.) According to a press release, Vols. 11 & 12 were recorded "mostly in a six-day span in December 2018 at Rancho De La Luna studios in Joshua Tree, Calif., with Queens of the Stone Age founder and Desert Sessions ringleader/producer Joshua Homme enlisting a cast of players" including:
