Is Slayer, Lamb of God + Behemoth’s monster North American tour skipping your fine city? Well, Lamb of God and Behemoth just announced a handful of off-date shows in both the U.S. and Canada.

Slayer’s 2017 string of North American tour dates isn’t for the faint of heart. Three of metal’s fiercest bands will converge upon cities this summer for a month-long reign of terror. Lamb of God and Behemoth have just added four side shows to the tour, with LoG headlining as Behemoth provide direct support. The just-added shows will take place in Grand Rapids, Montreal, St. Louis and Salt Lake City. See the newly-added dates below.

March 31 marked the release of Body Count’s highly-anticipated Bloodlust album, which features a guest appearance from Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe on the track “Walk With Me.” On Blythe’s always interesting Instagram account, the vocalist wrote about his cameo:

I was stoked when my brother-in-sobriety Ernie C. reached out & said @icet wanted me on a track- it's not every day you get asked to guest on a record by a band that once kicked up such a freaking ruckus that the Feds, THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, the Vice-President- basically the whole damn establishment were all coming at them at once (right around the time of the L.A. Riots). That's some LEGENDARY moves right there. Besides the serial killer fantasy tunes, this new record is political at times as well- I love that aspect of it. People sometimes say "You're a musician- you shouldn't talk about politics, you should just entertain people." To that I say: KISS MY WHITE ASS. NO f—ks given, & ZERO apologies TO ANYONE. Anyone who says that obviously hasn't paid any attention AT ALL to the history of music and art- it's what artists do, at least REAL ARTISTS. If you want some mindless bulls—t boy-meets-girl type crap, just turn on Top 40 radio. If you want "underground" music that doesn't talk about anything of substance as well- you might as well just listen to pop music.
