Metallica continued their string of unique performances surrounding the release of their new album, Hardwired... To Self-Destruct, with an intimate theater gig in Los Angeles on Thursday, Dec. 15. The show took place at the Fonda Theatre, with proceeds benefitting the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

The legendary metal band performed new tunes "Atlas Rise!," "Moth Into Flame" and "Hardwired" alongside such classics as "Creeping Death," "Fade to Black," "Master of Puppets," "Enter Sandman" and more during the 15-song set.

Loudwire had a photographer at the gig, and you can check out our exclusive photos above. Metallica wrapped up their 2016 shows a couple nights later with a concert at the Fox Theater in Oakland, Calif. While no announcement has been made, the band is expected to embark on a massive U.S. stadium tour in 2017, so stay tuned for details.
