Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult’s Onielar – Supreme Rock Goddesses

Germany’s Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult boasts one of the most overlooked women in all of heavy metal.

Onielar, of Polish descent, pulls double duty with the black metal band, playing guitar and fronting the corpsepaint-adorned quartet. The band has churned out five incredible black metal releases, complete with Dissection-like riffing, relentless blast beats, and the throaty screams of Onielar.

As the only remaining founding member of Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult, this is Onielar’s creative vision and mark on black metal history. As an accomplished songwriter, an identifiable vocalist, and a remarkable frontwoman when it comes time to hit the stage, Onielar is one of the best there is.
