Red Fang Make Believers in a Club in ‘Not for You’ Video
We've seen music listeners be converted into Red Fang fans over the years, but did you know they were the favorites of the discerning Yeti? The group has just released an animated new video for "Not for You" that shows proof.
The clip opens with the Yeti wearing a "I Want to Believe" t-shirt crushing vehicles in his monster truck before entering a dance club with his lady ready to get his groove on. Each of the Red Fang band members take their turns behind the turntable, but run into some opposition when they try to play something besides their own music. Genesis, Husker Du, Helms Alee ... the Yeti doesn't quite care for you, but there is an event which may have the beast reconsidering his decision on Can. Watch it all play out in the eye-catching animated clip from Balazs Grof above.
The band has a history of memorable music videos, and Grof's take on "Not for You" definitely joins the ranks of their best works. The song is featured on the group's latest album, Only Ghosts, which is currently available at this location.
Red Fang will be busy entertaining yetis and humans alike as the year continues and eventually rolls into 2018. They've got their own headline dates running from Oct. 17 through Oct. 28 along the western part of the U.S. From there, they'll join Mastodon and Russian Circles on tour in Europe from Nov. 13 to Dec. 10. And to kick off the New Year, they'll hop on dates with Black Label Society and Corrosion of Conformity beginning Jan. 26 in St. Petersburg, Fla., continuing through Feb. 9 in St. Paul, Minn.
