Santa Cruz Resurrect on the Road in ‘Testify’ Video

"Testify / Everything will be alright." Such is the story for Santa Cruz, who are once again revving with vitality after a rough 2018 that saw singer Archie Cruz as the lone remaining band member after a mid-tour split. Having restocked the lineup, Cruz and his band of Helsinki hellraisers are back with a new album and the brand new song, "Testify," which is premiering right here at Loudwire.

After the split with his bandmates, Cruz relocated to Las Vegas, where he worked closely with producer Kane Churko on some new music. “The whole year was very spiritual for me,” Archie recently told KaaosTV. “I had to reevaluate myself, my goals, what I wanted to do... When the whole fallout happened, I saw this as a great opportunity for me to finally put myself out there creatively, the way I wanted to do it for the longest time. It was a blessing in disguise, really.”

"Testify" features on the latest Santa Cruz album, Katharsis, due out Oct. 18 via M-Theory Audio. Pre-orders are currently being taken here. The title is fitting as many of the songs were berthed out of Cruz's personal journey. As for the "Testify" video, seen below, it follows the group as they've bonded on the road and performed over the summer in Europe. Get a closer look in the player provided.

"The road" will remain their home for the time being, with a date at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville on Sept. 27. More shows will follow in October and November, with their North American itinerary listed below.
