Sharon + Jack Osbourne Give Ozzy Health Update: ‘He’s Complaining a Lot’
It looks like Ozzy Osbourne is back to his ornery self after a health scare involving pneumonia and other flu complications landed the rocker in the hospital. His wife and son, Sharon and Jack Osbourne, gave the update to Access, the pair comically suggesting Ozzy's resumed complaining means the Black Sabbath icon is on the mend.
Ozzy was forced to cancel tour dates when he first came down with the flu in January, shortly after rolling out on a new leg of the No More Tours 2 farewell run. Thankfully, his family suggests the singer's doing just fine in recovery. Watch below.
"Well, if this gauges where he's at, he's complaining a lot," Jack said when asked about his rockstar father's health, the Osbourne offspring indicating that Ozzy's back to "his normal routine. So everything's A-OK there."
"That's always a good sign when he complains," Sharon jokingly added. "Then you know it's good."
"It's when he's happy and skipping around [that] you're like, there's something really wrong here," Jack laughs.
Earlier in the interview, Sharon and Jack discuss their work with Race to Erase MS, the annual event in Los Angeles that aims to educate others about Multiple Sclerosis and eventually find a cure the nervous system disease. Jack was diagnosed with MS in 2012, at the age of 26.
Last month, one-time Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Bernie Torme also contracted pneumonia. Earlier, the former Black Sabbath frontman had gifted ex-bandmate Lee Kerslake with some platinum albums after he became ill.
