Hardcore heroes Stray From the Path are on their way back with new music, announcing that their ninth studio album Internal Atomics will be released Nov. 1 through UNFD.

After dropping the stellar track "Fortune Teller" earlier this year, the band bolsters the new album announcement by unleashing the new track "Kickback." The percussive rocker turns aggressive fairly quickly, and gets an added boost with a ferocious guest turn from Counterparts' Brendan Murphy. Take a listen to the song at the bottom of this post.

It should be noted that Murphy's guest turn is just the beginning of the two bands synergy. Stray From the Path and Counterparts are also teaming up for a limited split 7" of "mystery covers with a tour, collaborative album variants and more on the horizon.

"Counterparts have been brothers to us for nearly a decade. We came up together, and we support each other in our careers. We’re lucky to be able to have Brendan feature on our new song “Kickback” and do our first tour on our new albums together. We also got to do some stupid/fun stuff with counterparts making a mystery cover 7” and offer it with both of our albums and tickets to our tour together," state the group.

Stray From the Path's Internal Atomics is currently available to pre-order here, and the band will finish out the year playing in the U.S. and Europe. See their dates listed below.
