Legendary thrashers Testament will be unleashing the live DVD/CD 'Dark Roots of Thrash' on Oct. 29 in North America. They have unveiled a three minute trailer of the release (watch above), while a performance of 'Rise Up' from the DVD has also been made available (watch below).

The concert was filmed in February during Testament's headlining set at the Paramount in Huntington, N.Y. Guitarist Eric Peterson says, "Metal heads! In case you've missed us on our 'Dark Roots' campaign tour, here's a day in the life and good representation of our show! Check it out, and put on your list of metal to get!"

Testament will be on tour with Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage and Huntress beginning Oct. 22 in Toronto.
