Sharon Osbourne recently revealed that the Osbourne family will shoot a limited number of episodes for a new season of the long dormant reality series 'The Osbournes.' Now comes word that the series is finding a home at VH1.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, VH1 is nearing a deal to bring back 'The Osbournes' to the airwaves. The network would essentially keep it in the family as the initial seasons of 'The Osbournes' aired on fellow Viacom network MTV.

In Sharon Osbourne's recent announcement, she revealed that the family would be involved in approximately six to eight episodes and that Ozzy Osbourne in particular was interested in doing the series, as he's now sober and wasn't during the filming of the original run.

The initial show centered on Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and their children Jack and Kelly. Though Jack and Kelly are not expected to be in every new episode, they will make appearances during the new batch of shows.

While a deal is reportedly near, no official premiere date has been announced. Sharon Osbourne stated that the family expects to start shooting in January.
