There's only one Yngwie Malmsteen. The Swedish neoclassical master guitarist has inspired an innumerable number of bands and his easily one of the greatest technical shredders in history. Malmsteen's personal style covers a multitude of sub genres such as classical metal, glam, power metal and, of course, heavy metal. Can anyone take this man down in our competition?

Judas Priest's Glenn Tipton is sure to give Malmsteen a run for his money. Tipton has made up one-half of Priest's guitar section for nearly 40 years -- 37 of which were spent side-by-side with K.K. Downing (who can easily be in this tournament, as well). Tipton has been a compositional force in Priest since the band's debut album, 'Rocka Rolla' was unleashed in 1974. Throughout Tipton's career with Priest, perhaps his most celebrated accomplishments are found in the immortal track 'Painkiller.'
