AC/DC’s Brian Johnson + Angus Young Talk About Phil Rudd + More on ‘Howard Stern Show’

Earlier today (Nov. 19), AC/DC legends Angus Young and Brian Johnson appeared on 'The Howard Stern Show.' Whenever Stern grabs a huge guest, it's never a disappointment, and this interview is no exception. During the chat, the AC/DC members discussed guitarist Malcolm Young, who's battling dementia, as well as drummer Phil Rudd's serious legal troubles.

'Stern Show' producer Gary Dell'Abate hosted AC/DC's 'Rock or Bust' listening party last night (Nov. 18), where both Johnson and Young surprised fans with a special appearance. The duo stuck around in New York City to make an early morning run to speak with Howard.

Surprisingly, the singer and guitarist were able to joke about drummer Phil Rudd's legal issues with Stern (listen below), but then got a bit serious about the topic. After Stern asked the duo about Rudd's current status as the band's drummer, Young responded, "We've got to resolve that." Johnson added, "The thing is, I don't think we have to do any firing or anything like that. I think the situation is going to take care of itself. He's got himself into a pickle and there's nothing we can do about it. We're talking about criminal courts here and we're talking about judges and we're talking about juries."
