Alice Cooper has contributed his legendary voice to Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood, an animated re-imagining of the classic children's tale. Cooper actually narrates the entire story as well as voicing each character.

Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood is actually being released as an iPad app along with a CD and digital album. Cooper is obviously passionate about the project, as you can tell by the rocker's storytelling in the clip above. "I love the fact that it's moved on, and that Peter has come to Los Angeles to meet his grandfather, who turns out to be an old hippie!" Cooper says. "That gives the story a fresh dynamic. And I like that he's not in the least bit terrified by the wolf when everybody else is freaking out."

A description of the project on its official website reads:

The app “Peter & The Wolf In Hollywood” is aimed at children aged five to ten, features the entire story with stunning visuals amplified by over a dozen engaging interactions in which children can explore Peter’s world and help him in his daring quest to rescue the Wolf that has escaped from the zoo. Children can also explore the story’s musical world by accessing more than 60 musical movements featured in the new prequel (including familiar works by Puccini and Wagner, Elgar and Grieg, Schumann and Satie) and in Prokofiev’s original tale.
