The first wave of announcements for the second annual Rock Carnival lineup was electrifying, with Twisted Sister playing their final Northeast tri-state area show with support from acts like Overkill and Ace Frehley. Now the New Jersey fest just got even better with with a second wave of additions that include Alice Cooper, Zakk Sabbath, Clutch and more.

The legendary shock rocker Alice Cooper will serve as Friday's (Sept. 30) headliner backed by the above acts as well as Blue Oyster Cult and more tribute artists as part of the new "classic" theme. Also set to hit the stage as part of this new celebration will be Voyage (Journey tribute band) and Almost Queen (Queen tribute band). Rounding out the remainder of Saturday's (Oct. 1) lineup are the newly added Jackyl, Cycle of Pain and Zebra, joining an already powerhouse bill.

The Rock Carnival is slated for Sept. 30 through Oct. 2 at First Energy Park in Lakewood, N.J. with Sunday's lineup announcement coming on July 5. Also set to perform are Monster Magnet, FuelCinderella‘s Tom Keifer, Dokken, Texas Hippie Coalition, Doro, Four By Fate, Killcode, Jester and American Angel. In addition to the music, the festival will feature carnival rides, professional wrestling, over 50 food trucks, craft beer, and high stakes pig racing!
