August Burns Red Announce Headlining 2012 North American Summer Tour

Pennsylvania based rockers August Burns Red are gearing up to hit the road later this summer with support from the Color Morale and the Overseer and a yet-to-be-named special guest, whom some suspect may be Of Mice & Men.

ABR will embark on tour in support of last year’s release of their fourth studio album ‘Leveler’ via Solid State Records. The North American trek kicks off Aug. 31 in Silver Spring, Md., and wraps up in Huntington N.Y., on Oct. 6. The group is then off to Europe to hit 12 countries in four weeks.

The band is offering VIP packages that include a concert ticket, an exclusive t-shirt, an 11x17 lithograph and a preorder of the band’s forthcoming Christmas album, which is due later this year. The VIP packages go on sale Thursday, July 12, here.
