It was a tight battle, but Avenged Sevenfold's latest single 'This Means War' advanced over Seether's 'Words as Weapons' to become the most recent Cage Match victor. The heavy, forward marching rocker will head back into battle this week as a new competitor joins it in the Loudwire Cage Match.

Stepping into the Cage will be Of Mice & Men's 'Would You Still Be There.' The single, off the band's latest album 'Restoring Force,' is rising up radio charts and making its way into sets on the band's current European trek. U.S. fans can find the band playing the Vans Warped Tour this summer. See Of Mice & Men's dates here.

So take a listen to both Avenged Sevenfold's 'This Means War' and Of Mice & Men's 'Would You Still Be There?' in the respective players provided. Rock both sufficiently, and then let us know which song you prefer by voting in the Readers Poll below.

(This Cage Match will run until Monday, June 2, at 2PM ET. Fans can vote once per hour! So come back and vote often to make sure your favorite song wins!)

Avenged Sevenfold, 'This Means War'

Rules of Cage Match:
Fans can vote once per hour for their favorite song. If a song remains the reigning champ for five straight cage matches, it is retired to the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. With so many great songs out there, we have to give other bands a chance!
