What a year it's been for Breaking Benjamin! And now the band can add to its accolades with a victory for Best Rock Album in the 5th Annual Loudwire Music Awards.

The fans voted plenty and often for Dark Before Dawn, the disc which topped the Billboard 200 album chart earlier this year. The album features the singles "Failure" and "Angels Fall," both of which dominated rock radio for the better portion of 2015. In addition, the song "Defeated" got some attention as a preview track before the album was released.

This marked the first album by the reconstructed Breaking Benjamin lineup with founding frontman Benjamin Burnley now backed by guitarists Jasen Rauch and Keith Wallen, bassist Aaron Bruch and drummer Shaun Foist.

Breaking Benjamin won out in a highly competitive category, with Tremonti's Cauterize, Three Days Grace's Human and Five Finger Death Punch's Got Your Six also in the running for the title.

Congrats again to Breaking Benjamin for their win in the Rock Album of the Year category in the 5th Annual Loudwire Music Awards. And look for them performing songs from the disc on their 2016 tour. Dates can be found here.
