It’s no secret that the men of Buckcherry were recently tapped to open on select Guns N’ Roses fall tour dates, and they’ve also opened for Aerosmith, KISS and Motley Crue. So, is anyone left on their dream list of tour mates? Of course there is: the one and only Rolling Stones.

"No question. The Rolling Stones. That's my band, since the beginning, my favorite,” Buckcherry guitarist Keith Nelson told Noisecreep. “Growing up watching Mick and Keith - the best in my opinion. Not sure I could ever meet them, though. I think it's probably best if I just admire them from afar. I mean, I have no idea what I could say to those guys."

Not that Nelson is complaining. "We love it, it's a lot of fun being on the road with really experienced bands," he said. "And Buckcherry is lucky. We've had the luxury of touring with Aerosmith, Motley Crue, KISS - amazing bands that have weathered all kinds of storms. There's always something to learn from bands like that.”

He added that touring with more practiced outfits is “incredible. I remember when we toured with AC/DC. I'd go out and watch their entire show every night. Same thing with KISS. The older bands that came before us are also the most gracious, as far as my experiences. They understand that we are a pure rock and roll band and so they make sure we always have what we need."
