Burn the Priest (Lamb of God) are returning to their roots with Legion:XX, the celebratory 20th anniversary covers album. The record contains covers of bands like Bad Brains, Ministry, Agnostic Front and others, including Big Black for which the band cut a video for their take on "Kerosene."

When boredom sets in, mischief often prevails. This video is direct, foregoing any visual metaphors and allegories and playing to the surface level lyrics of the Big Black track. Here, we see a man indulge his inner pyro with a can of kerosene faithfully at his side as he strolls around town. He has visions of a world engulfed in flames and at the end, covers himself in the oil and lights the match to the cheers of an onlooking group.

“Although [Steve] Albini’s lyrics for 'Kerosene' evoke small-town boredom, there is no geography more terrifying to me than the ever-spreading and soulless cookie-cutter sprawl of suburbia,” says vocalist Randy Blythe. “After I suggested a suburban location for the 'Kerosene' video, director Zev Deans took it to the next level with visual nods to one of my favorite films, the classic punk flick Suburbia. I first saw this film in the '80s at the midnight movies at the Naro Theater in Deans’ hometown of Norfolk, Virginia, yet another example of synergy at work. Enjoy!”

Legion:XX comes out tomorrow (May 18) through Epic Records. Pre-orders for the album can be placed here. Catch Lamb of God on the road supporting Slayer on their farewell tour which is currently underway.
