Chelsea Grin Announce Tour, Release New Song 'American Dream'

Deathcore heavyweights Chelsea Grin are still riding high on their latest release, 2016's Self Inflicted. They'll be reissuing the album digitally with two new tracks, one of which ("American Dream") can be heard above. With plenty of support for the record still to come, Chelsea Grin will be headlining a lengthy North American tour in the spring.

"American Dream," along with "Avidus," are the two new tracks appearing on the reissue, bringing the familiar crushing, djenty rhythms of Chelsea Grin. The track opens with a disjointed, manhandling attack of jarring riffs met with sudden palm mutes and churning kick drums. The rest of the track remains a slugfest, making room for some atonal guitar work later on.

Hitting the road with support acts Ice Nine Kills, Gideon and Enterprise Earth, Chelsea Grin will launch their tour from Spokane, Wash. on March 21, remaining on the west coast for a stretch before venturing eastward through the midwest and ultimately into Canada for two dates before descending back along the east coast. Working their way back across the country, the tour will close out on April 28 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Chelsea Grin's hometown.
