Daily Reload: Slash, Kid Rock + More

It's time for your Daily Reload. Slash made all types of headlines today by appearing in a commercial with Betty White for the L.A. Zoo and releasing the new single 'You're a Lie' this morning; scary news to report from the band King's X with their drummer Jerry Gaskill suffering a heart attack; and Nikki Sixx predicts that upcoming Motley Crue film 'The Dirt' will win an Oscar in 2013.

Sadly, guitarist Dee Cernile of '90s hard rock band Sven Gali lost his battle with cancer. In addition, Kid Rock will perform a benefit show with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and you can watch the full Kid Rock 'Live from the Artists Den' performance; the Melvins announce the release of a free EP; and Puddle of Mudd, Saliva + more are set to play this year's Rockapalooza.
