There's more "life" to come from David Ellefson's time with (and without) Megadeth. The bassist has been writing a follow-up to his My Life With Deth 2013 memoir, with the new title being More Life With Deth. The book is on schedule for a November release through Ellefson Music Press.

Ellefson collaborated with his business partner Thom Hazaert on the upcoming page-turner, calling on a number of friends for contributions as well. Alice Cooper, Brian "Head" Welch, Megadeth's Dirk Verbeuren, Mark Slaughter, Marc Rizzo, Ron Keel and more have their say in the upcoming book.

The bassist chose to pick up the story with his post-Megadeth days in the mid-2000s and he takes readers through his eventual return to the band in 2010.

“It’s a good thing Ellefson found some time to write his new book 'More Life with Deth' because I cannot wait to read it to figure out how he does it all! Keep going David!," said Korn's Brian "Head" Welch.

Pre-orders for the book are currently underway at this location, and for those pre-ordering prior to June 1, there is the option to become a "special backer" for an extra $50 with Ellefson providing a thank you to you in the credits of the book.

Ellefson is going strong in Megadeth. This year marks the 35th Anniversary of the group's Killing Is My Business album and there is talk of a new album in 2019. Megadeth has a summer tour planned for Europe after they play tomorrow night (May 5) at the Heaven & Hell festival in Mexico City.
