There's only two more rounds to go in the 2016 Extreme Metal Olympics. Battling in the Semifinals is Death's Human against Sepultura's Beneath the Remains as only one will move on to the Championship Round representing the Headbanger Region!

U.S.A.'s Death and their Human album handled the Swedes in Opeth and their landmark Blackwater Park without much resistance. Taking just a hair under 65 percent of the votes, Human is keeping the momentum rolling thunderously forward with its sights set on the Gold medal. But not just yet...

In what looked like it might have been one of the closest contested matchups in the tournament, the battle of the thrash classics saw Brazil dominate Germany. Sepultura's Beneath the Remains took roughly 63 percent of the votes over Kreator's equally legendary Pleasure to Kill. The people have decided and now Sepultura faces perhaps their toughest opponent so far.

Which album will move on to the Championship Round of the 2016 Extreme Metal Olympics? Vote for either Death's Human or Sepultura's Beneath the Remains in the poll below and check out a song from each album beneath the poll if you're unfamiliar.
