While no official announcement has been made yet, Deicide apparently have a new guitarist. The lineup on the band's Facebook page does not list Jack Owen, but does list Mark English (Monstrosity).

Owen had been with Deicide since 2004, appearing on their past four studio albums, including their latest, 2013's In the Minds of Evil. He was also a founding member of Cannibal Corpse in the late '80s and was in the group until 2004. He filled in earlier this year on tour for the Dutch symphonic black metal band Carach Angren.

Deicide are currently working on a new album, tentatively set to be released next year. In an interview with Metal Wani earlier this year, drummer Steve Asheim said (transcription via Blabbermouth), "It seems like we're gonna be taking the same approach. I mean, we're not gonna fix what isn't broken, as far as what we do. You know, we've been writing heavy riffs."
