Fuel Launch PledgeMusic Campaign To Fund ‘Puppet Strings’ Vinyl Pressing
Earlier this month, Fuel released 'Puppet Strings,' their first studio album in nearly seven years. Now the band has embarked on a PledgeMusic campaign to raise money to press limited edition 180g vinyl.
“The best way to listen to music is on the warm sound of vinyl,” says frontman Brett Scallions. “I grew up listening to music this way, in a small town in Tennessee, surrounded by the sounds of Elvis Presley, Tina Turner, all of the great blues and rock and roll coming out of Memphis, as well as the country music just a few hours away in Nashville."
He continues, "There is nothing better than hearing the needle hit the record… I’m honored to have this record printed in such a format.”
Contributors to the project can get all sorts of goodies. $35 will get a 180g vinyl copy of 'Puppet Strings' and a digital download of the album. If you contribute $50 you'll get a signed artwork poster. If your budget is a little higher, kick in $7500 for a songwriting session with Scallions. If you've ever wanted Fuel to play a concert at your house, and have $75,000 to spare, that's the top dollar reward.
