Glassjaw Postpone First Half of Spring 2022 Tour ‘Due to Hospitalization’

Glassjaw have postponed the first half of their spring 2022 Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Glassjaw Tour because of a hospitalization connected to the veteran post-hardcore band.

Those dates have been rescheduled for October. Glassjaw did not offer details on the hospitalization or who associated with the act was admitted.

The anniversary-style trek will find the Daryl Palumbo-led rockers performing in full their first two albums, 2000's Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence and its 2002 follow-up, Worship and Tribute.

"Our deepest apologies for any inconvenience," Glassjaw said in a March 1 update. "Due to hospitalization, Glassjaw will be unable to perform the following shows."

The rescheduled concerts comprise two performances in Los Angeles, two in San Francisco, one in Denver and one in Pomona, Calif. The tour was originally due to kick off on Wednesday (March 2) in L.A.

“The Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Glassjaw Tour featur[es] everything you ever wanted to hear from Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence and everything you ever wanted to hear from Worship and Tribute” is how the band described the tour last year, according to ThePRP. Earlier this year, Palumbo called Glassjaw's former record label "trash" but explained why they signed anyway. Glassjaw's latest studio album, Material Control, emerged in 2017.
