Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale sang classic tracks from Black Sabbath, AC/DC and Jefferson Starship for some lucky fans in Nashville, Tenn. last night (Sept. 1). The singer performed with Thee Rock N’ Roll Residency cover group at a local bar.

You can check out Hale and the group’s performance of “Heaven and Hell” from Black Sabbath above and her take on AC/DC’s “Shoot to Thrill” and “Jane” from Jefferson Starship below.

These aren't the only covers Hale has been doing. It was recently announced that the singer will be performing on an upcoming Stone Sour EP of covers. Thanks to a Facebook post from the group, Hale is thought to have leant her vocals to their take on Rolling Stones' classic song “Gimme Shelter.”

Hale is certainly having fun putting her spin on other artists’ work, but recently the tables were turned. Just last week we told you about the fun YouTube star Anthony Vincent had with the group’s “I Miss the Misery” track. Vincent covers their tune in 20 different ways in his latest video and was impressive enough to garner a shout-out from the group about his abilities. Watch Vincent’s video here.

We bet Halestorm have been in a perpetually good mood this summer, because in July they tied the record for the most No. 1 songs by a female-fronted act on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart. The three tracks that helped them do it? "Amen," "Apocalyptic" and "Freak Like Me." They share the honor with their former tourmates The Pretty Reckless.
