Iron Maiden’s Eddie the Head vs. Quiet Riot’s Man with the Iron Mask – Metal Mascot Madness, Round 2

It's a head to head matchup in Round 2 of March Metal Mascot Madness. Literally! Eddie and the Man with the Iron Mask are the faces of their respective bands and will surely make for an interesting duel here.

Iron Maiden's larger than life mascot obliterated Sargent D. in the first round. Eddie the Head collected over 20,000 votes, which was more than 10 times as many votes for Stormtroopers of Death's sarcastic mascot. Being the most instantly recognizable metal mascot in the world certainly has its advantages and will be needed in what will probably be a closer contest.

Quiet Riot won't go down without their mascot fighting in Round 2! Acquiring three out of every five of the 24,000 votes cast, the Man with the Iron Mask was in cruise control against Mötley Crüe's Allister Fiend. This round may not be so easy, but this mascot has found ways to escape from hospital gurneys and straight jackets, so let's not act like the odds haven't been stacked up again the Man before.
